AFDO congratulates Margo Hodge on her Order of Australia Medal.

Margo Hodge is a great example of the quiet achiever who has
worked for at least the past 20 years as an advocate and
representative of people with a disability.

She has served on the original Disability Advisory Council
of Australia and has dedicated much of her work to improving
accessible public transport for people with disabilities.

Margo's background is as a teacher. She is a great communicator
whose approach has always been constructive, dignified and consultative.
She has been a wonderful ambassador and change agent for the
disability consumer movement and we all cerebrate her contribution
to Australian society and people with disabilities.

Well done Margo Hodge OAM from AFDO,
Australia's national peak disability consumer
organisation and its staff, board and members.
