Australian Federation of Disability Organisations

There is always a lot to do in a national representative organisation, but as we move into the AGM season, it is becoming increasingly busy for AFDO.

Over the last two months AFDO has achieved a number of objectives, the major ones being:
• Development and Launch of the Access to Premises Campaign kit/website
• Employment of the new CEO
• Hosting the Flexible Housing Options forum in Canberra
• Holding a full members meeting in Canberra; and
• Assisting in the launch of Campaign Enable as part of Australia Fair

This newsletter goes into further detail about many of these things as well as giving you information about upcoming Campaign Enable forums and The AFDO AGM.

Many organisations and individuals were inspired by Campaign Enable it was great to see people wearing the fantastic T-shirts leading up to and on elction day.
