UPDATE: On December 3, 2011 - International Day of People with Disability - the Australian government announced they would be creating an agency to introduce the National Disability Insurance Scheme. They also launched a government website dedicated to the NDIS. You can visit the website here.

AFDO is presently lobbying for a National Disability Insurance Scheme to enable all people with disabilities to receive the supports they require to be fully included in all aspects of Australian life. We are part of a broad community campaign. To support the introduction of the NDIS join the Every Australian Counts campaign.
