The disability sector is uniting around the need for the newly proposed laws (Draft Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standard) to become sensible and appropriate to people with a range of disabilities. The sector has grave concerns at the moment and we believe the laws need to be redrafted and redefined.

AFDO Social Inclusion Policy Paper

Each year, AFDO is required under its funding agreement with the Department of Families, Housing Community Services and Indigenous Affairs to produce two policy papers. The latest policy paper is on the social inclusion agenda and how it should be meeting the needs of people with disability. The paper can be accessed on the AFDO Policy Paper web page.
