NDIS Information Sessions for People with Disability and Families Across Australia

AFDO is committed to delivering a minimum of 47 facilitated public workshops across metropolitan, regional and rural Australia, in the six months until the end of 2021, for NDIS participants and people in their support networks on strategies to maximise the efficiency and benefits of their NDIS plans.

With this in mind, the Disability loop team has developed an information session for people with disability and their families, carers or supporters, called “Getting the Most Out of Your NDIS Plan”. The information and resources you will receive at the session have been designed to assist you to have maximum benefit when putting your plan into action.

During a two-and-a-half-hour session, you will gain knowledge about key NDIS concepts, be given many useful suggestions and tips, and feel more empowered and confident in how to implement your NDIS plan. We use accessible venues and materials, and we provide a break, refreshments and accessibility support as needed.

Due to the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be delivering a combination of face-to-face and online sessions through the application Zoom to suit your needs. Our flexible approach ensures accessibility and comfort for all participants and their families to not miss out on these important educational materials.

All of our facilitators have been purposely selected to support this national project and deliver quality outcomes for our participants. More information on our facilitators can be found on the Eventbrite website.

Disability Loop and AFDO are committed to providing people with disability, their families, carers and supporters with the appropriate resources and access to confidently implement and take full advantage of their NDIS plan. Therefore, all resources and sessions provided by Disability Loop and AFDO are completely free of charge!

Our information sessions are beginning from July 2021, you can view all of our upcoming events on Eventbrite to register and secure your spot.

If you have any questions or would like assistance with registering, please email disabilityloop@afdo.org.au or call us on (03) 9662 3324 / 1800 219 969
